What a VPN does and doesn't do
What changes when the VPN is on, and what stays the same.
A VPN does: encrypt everything your phone sends between it and our server; hide the sites you open from your provider and the Wi‑Fi owner; show sites the server's address and country.
A VPN doesn't: make you anonymous — a site where you are signed in still knows it is you; protect against viruses, phishing links or scam sites; change the rules of the services you use; guarantee access to every site in every country.
Protection starts when the app shows VPN is on and stops when you turn it off.
