How site names are looked up and why IPv6 is blocked.

While the VPN is on, site names are looked up through the VPN server using Cloudflare's public resolver 1.1.1.1. Your provider does not see these lookups, and Cloudflare sees our server's address, not yours. We do not log them.

The tunnel carries IPv4 traffic. IPv6 is blocked while the VPN is on, so traffic cannot leave outside the tunnel through IPv6.
