Starting a conversation by number, by username or by invite link.
You can reach someone in three ways.
- By QuiNVarium number — the +999 address they gave you.
- By username — if they set one.
- By invite link or QR code — for a group, or for a direct conversation.
There is no public directory and no random matching. A conversation exists because one of you gave the other an address.
Your address book#
Access to your contacts is optional and the app works without it. If you allow it, the app checks which of the QuiNVarium numbers you have already saved belong to accounts here, so you do not have to type them again. We do not upload or store your address book. See Contacts.
Who can find you#
In Settings you can choose who is able to find you by your QuiNVarium number.
