On the new device, choose to restore an account and enter your twelve words in order.
What comes back#
- Your QuiNVarium number.
- Your profile name, picture and username.
- The settings and contact list we hold, in encrypted form.
What does not come back#
Message history comes back only if you turned on message backups: the app then restores your conversations from the encrypted backup. Without a backup, conversations live only on the devices and there is nothing for us to return.
