Scams and impersonation
The patterns worth recognising before they cost you the account.
- Somebody claiming to be support. We do not contact you first, and we never ask for your recovery phrase.
- A new build you must install right now. Updates arrive through Apple, not through links.
- An urgent problem with your account. Urgency is the tool; the hurry is the attack.
- A familiar name from an unfamiliar address. Confirm through a channel you already trust.
