Wrong device clock

Requests to our servers are signed with the time they were made. A request that appears to come from the past or the future cannot be told apart from one that was captured and replayed, so the server refuses it. A phone whose clock is wrong therefore fails to register and fails to connect — and the error looks nothing like a clock problem.

Fix#

iPhone Settings → General → Date & Time → Set Automatically.

Then reopen the app.
