Wallet risk disclosure

QuiNVarium Wallet is a tool for interacting with blockchain networks. Using it involves technical and financial risk. This summary is educational and does not replace the governing legal documents for the released product and region.

Self-custody risk#

You are responsible for protecting the recovery phrase, private keys, device access and transaction approvals. Loss of the only valid recovery method can make assets inaccessible. Disclosure of a secret can let another person control the wallet.

Transaction risk#

Blockchain transactions can be irreversible. A wrong address, network, token contract, memo, amount or approval can cause permanent loss. Names, icons and transaction previews can be deceptive. Verify primary identifiers before signing.

Network and smart-contract risk#

Networks can be congested, halted, reorganized or attacked. Fees and confirmation times can change. Smart contracts, bridges, tokens and decentralized applications can contain defects, administrator powers, malicious logic or liquidity risk. QuiNVarium Wallet displaying an asset does not endorse it.

Market risk#

Digital assets can lose value rapidly and may become illiquid. A displayed price is an estimate from a data source, not an executable offer or guarantee.

Provider risk#

Swapping and other integrated functions may be supplied by independent providers. Quotes, fees, limits, route availability, execution and support are controlled under the provider's terms. A provider can reject, delay or cancel an order.

Legal, tax and sanctions risk#

Availability and obligations vary by location and can change. You are responsible for determining whether an activity is lawful and for any reporting or tax duties that apply to you. Do not use the product to evade legal restrictions.

Software and device risk#

Malware, a compromised operating system, an unofficial build, insecure backups, screen sharing and phishing can defeat wallet protections. Keep the device supported and obtain the app only through Official downloads.
