Restore or update issue
Protect the backup before reinstalling and distinguish an app-update problem from a wallet-restoration problem.
Do not remove the current app until you know how the wallet will be restored and have verified the recovery backup.
Update issue#
- Confirm the installed app came from an official listing.
- Check available device storage and operating-system compatibility.
- Restart the normal store update flow.
- Record the exact store or installer error.
- Do not sideload a package sent by another person as a workaround.
Restore issue#
- Confirm the app is verified.
- Enter the recovery phrase only inside the app.
- Check spelling, order and supported recovery method.
- Allow supported networks to load.
- Enable the expected assets.
- Compare a known old public address before assuming the phrase is wrong.
